യൂറോപ്യൻ ഹാർട്ട് ജേണലിൽ ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 18 നു പ്രസിദീകരിച്ച പഠനത്തിലാണ് കോവിഡ് ബാധിച്ച സ്ത്രീകളിൽ പലർക്കും വാർദ്ധക്യത്തിന്റെ വേഗത വർദ്ധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഫ്രാൻസിലെ പാരീസ് സിറ്റി സർവകലാശാലയിലുള്ള പ്രൊഫസർ റോസ മരിയ ബ്രൂണോയായിരുന്നു പഠനത്തിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്. 16 വ്യത്യസ്ത രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള 2,390 പേരെയാണ് പഠനത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയത്.

A study published in the European Heart Journal on August 18 found that many women infected with COVID-19 experienced accelerated aging. The study was led by Professor Rosa Maria Bruno of Paris City University in France. The study included 2,390 people from 16 different countries.
