ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတွင် ၂၀၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ ဇွန်လမှစပြီး Covid-19 နှင့် Mpox ရောဂါကူးစက်မှုများ မြင့်တက်နေပြီး Mpox ရောဂါသည် ပိုမိုပြင်းထန်သည့် ဗိုင်းရပ်စ်မျိုးစိတ်သစ်ဖြစ်ကာ Covid-19 ကြောင့် သေဆုံးမှုနှုန်းမှာ နည်းပါးလျက်ရှိကြောင်း ဘန်ကောက်ပို့စ်မှ ဖော်ပြခဲ့သည်။

ရောဂါထိန်းချုပ်ရေး ဦးစီးဌာန ညွှန်ကြားရေးမှူးချုပ် ဒေါက်တာ မွန်တီယန် ကာနာဆာဝပ် (Dr Montien Kanasawat) က ဇန်နဝါရီ ၁ ရက်မှ သြဂုတ် ၂၃ ရက်အထိ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံတွင် Mpox ရောဂါ ကူးစက်ခံရသူ ၂၅၄ ဦး ရှိခဲ့ပြီး ၎င်းတို့အနက် ၁၉၃ ဦးမှာ Clade 1b မျိုးစိတ် ကူးစက်ခံရခြင်းဖြစ်ကာ ၅၈ ဦးမှာ Clade II မျိုးစိတ် ကူးစက်ခံရခြင်း ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ဩဂုတ် ၂ ရက်တွင် ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။
