News Corp Senior Writer Patrick Carlyon says Victoria’s curfew during the COVID-19 pandemic was an “absolute travesty of justice”.

“It’s triggering just talking about this – it’s almost been five years, and the fact was at the time the curfew’s being introduced, no other city in the world, as far as I can remember was having curfews,” Mr Carlyon said.

“It was plain, almost from the get-go, that this was a political decision, I think Dan Andrews made some reference to making it easier for the police force to enforce the silly rules.

“It is an absolute travesty of justice.”
