As fall continues and the holidays approach, many Delaware families are thinking about how to protect themselves from flu and COVID-19.

In this Healthy Delaware update, Ashley shares information about flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, where to find vaccine services in Delaware, and what to ask before visiting a pharmacy, health care provider or public health clinic.

Flu and COVID-19 can cause serious illness, particularly for older adults and people with certain underlying health conditions. Talk with your health care provider about which vaccines are appropriate for you and your family.

Before you go, call ahead to check vaccine availability, appointment requirements and insurance coverage. If cost is a concern, ask about state immunization services and available assistance.
